Rancho's Mission Statement
At Rancho Elementary we believe all students will be successful learners through collaboration and communication with families as partners. We recognize each student as a unique individual, and we will develop curriculum, instructional activities, and assessment measures to focus on providing valuable learning opportunities. Students will use skills and apply knowledge to reach their full potential while they create solutions for themselves and their community.

Being in school every day means your child won’t miss out on learning. Try to schedule appointments and family trips outside of school hours. If they ask to stay home “just because,” remind them of what they will miss, such as their reading group or art class. Explain that they can be absent only if they are sick or if there is a family emergency.
Each semester at Rancho we recognize students with Perfect Attendance (no tardies, absences, or early checkouts) as well as Exceptional Attendance (3 or fewer total).
